Today we had a lesson on intuition. It was interactive and fun. We did an experiment on the direction of where the spool rolls when the string is pulled at different angles. It was out of our expectations that the answer was not all the symbols, equations and theories. It was much easier for us to understand as we had our conclusion after our experiment and understand what was happening before the theories. We watched a few videos about athletes pratising their talents. For example, Michael Phelps practised a special skill for thousands of time and became the first in the World Champions. Then, the professor talked about optical illusion. He presented us some images and explained us that what we thought we saw was actually wrong!

After lunch, we had neuroscience lesson. We watched a video on how the image in a person's brain were regenerated. It is so wonderful that it really works. Then we discussed about why we are forgetful and how our memories changed. After that we learnt about the nervous system, including CNS and PNS and how different parts of the brain work. At last we watched two videos about captain america and the hulk, it is very amazing to know that the marvel stories actually relate to science and can become real in our lives.
After dinner, we had another opportunity to go to the Stanford Shopping Center. We get the chance to go to shops we haven't been yet and had bought the things we need. Since it was after dinner, we got to admire the pulchritude sunset of California.
