The San Francisco Zoo was gigantic. It was really rare to see so many different animals originated from all parts of the world. We were fascinated by the wide variety of animals there. There were giraffes, Siberian Tigers, a Komodo Dragon, a snow leopard and polar bears! All of us wish we could get closer to these animals, but unfortunately it was not permitted. However, there was a petting zoo where we could go inside and stroke farm animals. The sheep, goats and donkeys were adorable and it was such a great experience. It was hard leaving the animals but we continued our trip by heading to downtown San Francisco for a major shopping trip. We visited shops that are not reachable in Hong Kong like Bath and Body Works, VSpink, Urban Outfitters and some local hawkers. Sunday was definitely very relaxing which helped us to get prepared for the exciting learning days ahead.
