Day 3 (7/8/2014)
Today we tried going to
our classes on our own. This trained us not to depend on our counselors or
chaperones too much. When we arrived at our destination, we were filled with an
incomparable satisfaction.
For our morning session,
we had our problem solving class. There were IQ tests and illusion tests. The IQ
tests encouraged our critical thinking, and also motivated us to think out of
the box and be persistent. Practice makes perfect! The optical illusion tests were
simply amazing. We learnt that our senses are not always reliable.
In the afternoon, we had “Imagining
the future, critiquing the present”. We learnt so much about the past, and also
studied the views on utopian and dystopian worlds of different writers
throughout history.
In our free time, we slept
on the hammock in the front yard. We enjoyed our time under the sun!
