Cool advanced technology!! |
This morning,
we visited the laboratory. We were first introduced to a computer program about
the human body. That program can be used on both the iPads and computers which
is very useful for students who are doing their research. There was also a
touch- screen anatomage table on which you can dissect a body virtually. We saw
some examples of computed tomographies of some patients and learned more about
anatomy. The most interesting and exciting activity was going into the
dissection laboratory. We could not take any photos there as to respect those
who are dead. We had a chance to touch the organs dissected by the professors
in the laboratory. They were brown in colour and slightly soft. It was surely a
memorable experience as we had never been to any anatomy laboratory before.
This definitely widened our horizons.
Then we had
Math lesson after lunch. We have learnt probability at school but we went
further in-depth on this topic today. We had fun working out the solution of a
complicated question. The teacher is really nice and she kept on asking if we
needed any help from her while we were solving the difficult question. Today we
had the last lesson here at Stanford and we paid extra attention in class.
In a
nutshell, today was packed with a lot of fun and we all look forward to
tomorrow’s field tripJ
