It was a memorable day for us. We were glad that we had such fine weather with the sun shining brightly in the sky. After a full and scrumptious breakfast, we had our first lesson of the day on intuition and problem solving. We loved this lesson the most in this program, because it was very exciting and interactive.  Our favourite activity was the teacher showing us a lot of photos about optical illusions. From these, we learnt that we should not blindly believe what our eyes see and what our brain tells us.

After lunch, we were invited to attend a talk on undergraduate admission by the Stanford admissions officers. We appreciated the efforts that Stanford University made for us these few days and we would definitely hope to study in Stanford University in the future. We enjoyed the times we had in the past few weeks and we had to say we liked the life in the USA.

Then, we had a lesson on neuroscience which wrapped up the knowledge we’ve learnt during the previous lesson. Unexpectedly, our whole group was passionate in science and thus, we were enthusiastic about this lesson. This lesson was much more interesting than the one last week. We had a chance to observe a transparent brain. We were all curious about the facts of our brain and the functions of various cells that were found along the nervous system.

During evening, we went to the Stanford Shopping Centre once again. We had been longing to go there for ages and finally, we had this chance. We were delighted and excited about those times. We ate some pretzels from the world famous Auntie Anne’s. It was so awesome and tasty that we hoped that we could eat more! After all, it turned out to be the last time for us to visit the shopping centre in the near future. Yet, we would never forget the moments that we had in this huge and marvelous shopping paradise. During these few days, we’ve not only broadened our views in exploring other countries’ shopping experience, we also learnt how to use our time wisely as we had to shop for a large variety of things within a short period of time. These memories would definitely leave an impression on us and we dared to say we loved those flashes of moments that we had together.
