13/8/2014 Day 9 Group 2
This morning, we went to the Computer History Museum and had a great time in the exhibition. It was interesting and new to see and know more about how the computer was made and the inner parts of it. We also watched some video clips about the growth of technology and computers’ importance nowadays.

STANFORD! :p |
Actually, before visiting the museum, we went to Google first but sadly, we could only walk around the buildings and could not enter them nor take any kinds of photos. Anyway, we were also amazed when we saw the whole view of it and their special Google bicycles.

In the afternoon, as usual, we had lessons and today we learnt about marketing. The teacher taught us that failure is something we always have to face and we must experience it at least once before we would succeed. We should not be afraid of failure because failure is just very normal and we can learn to overcome it better and better. The more we fail, the faster we would succeed.
Besides, the teacher also defined the meaning of marketing and taught us how companies should start up, in order to develop themselves, becoming large companies. This was rather a piece of useful information for us, if we would like to make our own business in the future.
For today’s lesson, money was given to volunteers again as a reward for their courage. We all felt very surprised that money was involved and to be honest, it kind of motivated us.
Then, we went back to our residence and started to prepare for our final presentation. Our group chose to do a role play about law, focusing on the Miranda Rights. The presentation will be on Friday and we are quite excited about it.
Finally, at night, we did T-shirt dying and hennaing. Since we have never done dying before, it was really a meaningful and unforgettable experience for us. We have only a few days more here in Stanford, and we hope that we could enjoy every moment here!
