IT'S FIELD TRIP DAY!!
After our scrumptious meal as usual, we got on the bus and started our expedition to Silicon Valley . Firstly, we went to the Google headquarters and did some photo taking. Unfortunately, the campus was on privates grounds and weren't supposed to enter. Anyhow, we still get unseen footage while other tourists have none, so I guess it is a positive outcome for us. Later on we took the bus to the computer history museum. Compared to knowledge engraved in our brains, computers a definitely better than us in storage and information by dozens. The exhibits were very fascinating, and from the tour, we think that we are very privileged to be in this age of technology where computer functioning is starting to steady at its peak, and enhancement is also quite rapid. All the exhibits of course are meaningful and important equally, but for us, computer art and computer gaming was the most intriguing. Never have we thought that their evolution gave such great impact in the world to animated movies and also video gaming. Both topics closely relate to us teens it really is interesting to get a chance to experience it's change and it's impact to our lives. Overall, the visit was very enthralling.
After the field trip, we had normal classes in the afternoon. The lesson is about marketing and customer development. This topic is a bit new to us. During the lesson, the teacher explained some basic concepts, such as startups, whole product model and profit/market fit. These concepts seem a bit boring, however with some games and activities, we found the lesson very interesting.
For the activity section, we are told to prepare for our final presentations. Every group should try to focus on a different topic. Our group chose to do a presentation on journalism and persuasive writing. We planned to do a role play and apply the things we learnt during the journalism workshop lesson. We hope that our presentation can be entertaining and tell the others what we learned in this whole trip.
