Group 4 DAY12 16-8-14
Our last second day. And what a journey it has been. From us being homesick freaks to those who can't let this place go.
Today was our second last day and we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was really interesting seeing octopuses, sea otters, penguins and many kinds of fishes, all in every different color and specie. There were many sea animals that we have never seen before. The big fish tanks allow us to have a closer look of the creatures. We had a great time in the aquarium.
After visiting the large aquarium, we went shopping in the street called cannery row in front of the aquarium. The shops were full of handmade crafts and we bought some souvenirs there. We also went to an dripin' drop shop for a short break after the tiring shopping.
Though there wasn't much that we did today, we did had a break to go tour around the campus again before dinner. We go the chance to reminisce the great times we had here.
Whether it is the tired and deep lessons or the tuki tuki game from intuition class, we all treasure what Stanford gave us, the opportunity to be here and the opportunity of the experience. We do hope that they could feel our gratitude towards them especially to the counselors who gave us guidance and a fantastic time here, teaching us to do henna and tie dye. We are truly thankful.
